My mechanic replaced fuel filter but issue continued. Could have continued to drive but it may have gone out at any time. Indicator signal had issues - intermittently would not keep the signal on, signal tempo would be irregular, etc. The strut holding up the hood was broken. Had to replace both bulbs on the right side and rewire the pigtail. Took to an ASE certified mechanic w/Volvo expertise to diagnose the premature light failure. Replace pads and rotors all the way around. One was ruined when I hit a deer replaced the pair. Replace driver side front hub & bearing replace struts Had to replace the Schrader valve again and recharge the system. Replace power steering hose Oil cooler seal leaking and replaced Crankshaft sensor faulty and replaced There is so much buzzing on AM radio that it cannot be listened to. Was told that it was the front struts and the noise will gradually get worse but is not dangerous. Had a terrible rattle/squeak that we had checked at our 60k checkup. Had to replace front struts, spring seats, control arm bushings and replaced rear shocks as well. Rear driver side door lock replaced as well as driver side module & switch.įront end was making a clunking sound over bumps. Intermediate service performed: brake fluid change, oil & filter change, check brakes, and change power steering fluid. PCV hose was cracked and needed replacing. Bolt was re-inserted and Loctite was added. Inspection showed axle bolt behind the driver's side front wheel cap had come loose. Top engine mount was worn out, causing minor clunk noise during acceleration, so replaced it and lower engine/transmission mounts.ĭriver's front side made a clunk noise during gentle on/off throttle, and on rough roads at low speed. Replaced both top engine mount and bottom transmission-engine mount. Also had alignment and oil change done during service.Įngine cooling: Replaced leaky radiator Suspension: Replaced broken front upper spring mounts/seats Was causing anti-skid system to be disabled. Also, rain squeal issue (when wet, exhaust resonator touches rear propeller shaft) addressed by exhaust bracket part numberĬlock spring replaced. Part number: 31268561Įmissions system leak detection pump failed and was replaced (caused check-engine light) part number 30774518 (dealer-installed). Replacing switch/lever mechanism fixed it. Turn signal would not blink consistently, trip computer changed setting each time turn signal was turned on.
